Way to Library

Today humanbody has entered to active information development that characterizes forming of communication system, which allows the access to intellectual wealth of society. The National Library takes the important place of doing that. And I'm a reader of this great library until 2006.

The library situated on a new administration centre, in a modern building. And I can say with confidence that it's a finest place in our city, at least for me.

By attendance into the library you feel comfortable sphere which fits the psychological peculiarities and needs of readers. The halls are designed with highest aesthetic style and with amount of the beautiful flowers. You feel peculiar energy here.

Every time I pay attention to the exhibition stands. There are most interesting and useful books on specific theme, also on exhibition can be shown books of one author or newest just received books.

I am interesting on themes as presentation of project, “economic substantiation project”, “hydraulic structure”, “water industry”, “clearance work of natural reservoir from pollution”, “irrigation and drainage of irrigation system”. In search of full information I use books, newspapers, magazines, like “Continent”, “Delovaya nedelia”, “Panorama”, also various databases. And in order to increase my intellectual standards I read periodical issues, encyclopedias, dictionaries and I interest in modern prose.

There are various meetings: expected and unexpected, astonishing and so on. You can meet and speak with interesting people as writers, poets, diplomatists, ambassadors, composers and specialists of various professions.

I was in arrangement dedicated to year of Pushkin in Kazakhstan, action “One Country-One Book” which took a part Fariza Ongarsinoba, Murat Auezov, Akim Tarazi. The celebration of the International Day of Peace and Non-violence with taking a part of Ashok Sadjanhar was interesting.

First of all, library associates with librarians, because interpersonal attitudes between readers and librarians are very important. Librarians answer not only to the questions, but also they offer another way and opportunity that satisfies my needs. My hearty thanks to specialists Chaikovskaya T.V., Bazirash, Abisheva A.A.

Questionnaire of readers takes regularly, where we can bring out our claim, needs and wishes. The library characterizes with implantation of new technology using the elements of non-commercial marketing and with leading of non-traditional extra service. Especially I like electron catalogue because using of it takes less time to receive necessary information.

I satisfied the quality and number of library's fund and I can find all my needs. I can claim hardily that the National Academic Library of RK will stay not only leader of science, but also educational and informational centre in Astana.
