On June 10, 2009 Director General of the National Academic Library of RK Otarbayev R.K. and specialists of library visited Presidential Centre of Culture. There was the premiere of scientific-documentary film “Tabylmai kelgen kazyna” and presentation of the book about Elibai akyn (Li Bai – Li Bo), the author of which is Omirbek Baigeldi.
During the presentation the Minister of Culture and Information of RK Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed mentioned: “The new interesting fact from life of Li Bo is really meaningful – he was born in Kazakh steppe. In this context the works of Omirbek Baigeldi are important event, which opens new borders of cultural relations between Kazakhstan and China”.
The poet O.Suleimenov, writer A.Kekilbaev, Director of the Presidential Centre of Culture Zholdasbekov M.Zh., scientist, ethnographer A.Seidimbek, the Minister of Education and Science of RK Zh.Tuimebayev took floor with the words of gratitude to the author of the film and book. The Minister of Culture presented to O.Baigeldi the sign of honour “Honoured Worker of Culture of RK”.
In the list of great names that made Chinese literature famous, the name of Li Bo (701-762) takes one of the honourable places. His poetic creative works express with the great image-bearing force the complicated occurrence, surrounded author the words of reality in its endless contradictions and sharp social conflicts.
Li Bo is the author of more than 1000 poems…... His most famous works in genre uefu are emotional and often fantastic. He is also often associated with Daoism: it is important element of his works. Though in his “Ancient spirit” he accepts viewpoint of Confucian-moralist, and more of his poems are traditional enough for that culture.
There are a lot of legends about Li Bo, as about majority of geniuses (as Mozart), about how easy was poetic creativeness for Li Bo, they said that he writes with the unprecedented speed and without any correcting. His preferred metre – the poem consisting of 5 and 7 words, he wrote more than 160 works. Having outstanding imagination Li Bo could create graceful examples of full use of Chinese language. His works impress not for wide reading and erudition of the author (as Du Fu) but for the irrepressible fantasy and identification of a reader with the free-thinking personality of author.
From the day of birth of Li Bo passed thirteen centuries. But through centuries Chinese people carried the alive and not abating love to the poet of genius, the creative work of whom reflects the life of nation and with the extraordinary brightness impressed the spirit of Tan epoch.
