On November 18, 2009, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Abdalla Omar Alarnosi visited the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The high guest was met by Mr. Otarbayev R.K., Director General of the National Academic Library of RK. Excursion in NABRK was organized for Mr. Abdalla Omar Alarnosi and other guests among whom there was Sailau Batyrshauly, Professor of Eurasian University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Honoured Worker of RK. Particularly, the guests were acquainted with electronic possibilities of NABRK, visited exhibition hall, electronic catalogue room, Internet room and other places. During excursion, there was discussed topic about establishing creative contacts of NABRK with libraries of Egypt, training of Kazakhstani specialists in Egypt. Close relations of NABRK with libraries of Egypt will promote strengthening of cultural and literary connections between two countries.
