To Seventieth Birthday of People's Writers A.Kekilbayev and F.Ungarsynova. “Alem Adebietinin Aktangeri” and “Poetry Padishasy” Exhibitions

In December 2009, People's Writers of Kazakhstan A.Kekilbayev and F.Ungarsynova were 70 years of age. Grand opening of “Alem Adebietinin Aktangeri” and “Poetry Padishasy” exhibitions took place in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 24 November especially to significant dates. Expositions are not only a gift for readers to jubilee of Kazakh literature stars, but also an expression of great recognition to Abish Kekilbayev and Fariza Ungarsynova, trustees of the temple of knowledge from the first days of NABRK opening, organizers of many interesting projects. Abish Kekilbayev is a Chair of Board of Trustees of NABRK, and Fariza Ungarsynova is a Chair of Action “One Country – One Book”.

Teachers, librarians, students, schoolchildren, and all the admirers of A.Kekilbayev and F.Ungarsynova creativity came to the grand opening of exhibitions. Participants met guests with prolonged applause. Among guests there were Buribayev A.I., Vice-Minister of Culture and Information of RK, poetess F.Ungarsynova, writer A.Kekilbayev's spouse – Klara apa, writer Akim Tarazi, Director General of NABRK Otarbayev R.K., diplomat Sailau Batyrsha-uly and others.

Opening address was made by Otarbayev R.K. and Akim Tarazi. And a solemn moment of cutting ribbon in honor of exhibitions opening came up. This privilege was passed to F.Ungarsynova and Buribayev A.I.

Books of A.Kekilbayev and F.Ungarsynova, translations of the books, books dedicated to creative works of A.Kekilbayev and F.Ungarsynova, newspaper and magazine publications, photo documents from private archive about state and public activity were presented at the exhibitions. Bibliographic index was published by NABRK to seventieth birthday of A.Kekilbayev. It includes list of writer's works, books about him, newspaper and magazine publications. Special exposition is devoted to creative ties of NABRK with A.Kekilbayev and F.Ungarsynova who are honourable readers of NABRK.
