On December 1, 2009, a literary-musical party “Ansaidy Shyndyk Ak Aidyn” devoted to creative work of Akushtap Baktygereyeva, famous Kazakh poetess and public figure, Chair of Western-Kazakhstan branch of RK Writers' Union, took place in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Well-known writers and poets – Fariza Ungarsynova, Koishygara Salgarin, Serik Turgynbekov, Nesipbek Aituly, representatives of creative and public intelligentsia of Astana, and many admirers of poetess's talent came to meet with Akushtap Baktygereyeva, with her poetry bearing light of good and love. The literary-musical party had a creative atmosphere: actors recited Akushtap Baktygereyeva's poems and monologues, sang songs; audience greeted warmly Akushtap Baktygereyeva's performance; and of course, greetings of the guests and testimonials sounded. On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Information of RK, Testimonial was presented by Tauekelov S.B., Head of Department of Regional Development and Libraries, Committee on Culture, on behalf of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Testimonial was presented by Otarbayev R.K., Director General of NABRK, on behalf of the Assembly of the Nation of Kazakhstan, Testimonial was presented by Tugzhanov E.L., Deputy Chair of the Assembly of the Nation of Kazakhstan, on behalf of the Akimat of Astana city, Testimonial was presented by Kokumova K.K., Head of Division of State Inspectorate on history and culture monument conservation, Department on Culture, Akimat of Astana city.
Comprehensive information on Akushtap Baktygereyeva's life and creativity was picked up by guests from the book exhibition where books, magazines, newspaper publications, and pictures were placed. Also, electronic presentation was made for attracting guests' attention.
The first Akushtap Baktygereyeva's poetry collection “Orimtal” was published in 1967. The following collections were published: “Naz” (1969), “Kanyshym-inkarim” (1971), “Seni Oilaimyn” (1973), “Ak Kanat” (1975), “Bakyt Ani” (1978), “Zhaiyk Kyzy” (1980), “Belokrylaya” (1981) in Russian language, “Akzhelen” (1985), “Sumbile” (1990). Selected poems were published in collection “Ak Shagala” in 2001. Akushtap Baktygereyeva translated poems of S.Kaputikyan, V.Tushnova, A.Akhmatova into Kazakh language. She wrote texts for many songs.
The person who is able to overview all the creative works of the poetess Akushtap, will notice two chief items – hot love to native land and willingness to struggle for justice and victory over evil.
