On 18 March, 2010, a holiday event devoted to Nauryz took place in the Ethnography room of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was organized by the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and school №37 by name of S.Maulenov of Astana city.
Students of 8th grade showed musical-poetic composition “Great People's Holiday” under the direction of homeroom teacher G.A.Ospanova. According to scenario, “Tole Bi”, “Kazybek Bi”, and “Aiteke Bi” were performed at poetic competition, “kyz uzatu”, “bet ashar”, and “tusau keser” rites were shown; girls and boys were performing national dances to the accompaniment of dombyra, Kazakh musical instrument, audience liked their dancing very much. The strongest young men tried their strength at “kol kures” and “arkan tartu” competition. Holiday guests and participants got acquainted with book exhibition “Welcome Nauryz”.
Holiday participants wished all the best to the whole nation and to each other, blessing for peace and prosperity was given.
